Promoting small and medium enterprises in Himachal Pradesh

Himachal Pradesh Financial Corporation was established under the State Financial Corporations Act, 1951 with the basic objective of promoting and developing small and medium enterprises in the state, with special focus on spreading industrial culture in rural, semi-urban and backward areas of Himachal Pradesh.

The Corporation is owned by the State Government jointly with SIDBI and functions under the administrative control of the State Government. It has operated financial assistance schemes for entrepreneurs including marketing activities, equipment finance, special assistance to ex-servicemen, and single window assistance.

This corporation gave refinance loans to entrepreneurs across Himachal Pradesh. However, the loaning business has ceased since 2011. Presently, this Corporation does not give any more loans.
